It is natural to feel lost in your life at times - many people feel like this and often have no sense of which direction to take. On a bad day when you feel full of frustration you may ask yourself 'why do I feel such anger?' - I could help you with understanding why you feel angry and help you with some anger management tips.

Another familiar question is 'why do I feel such sadness and grief?' I can help you to make sense of the losses you have experienced by sharing my training with you about the Elisabeth Kubler-Ross 5 stages of grief.

I was fortunate to do some of my professional training with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross who famously wrote about the 5 stages of grief, one of which is anger. Grief can be felt for many reasons reasons other than death and dying - that is why grief, loss and sadness are feelings so familiar to most of us. My role is to offer you information, practical tips and professional support with these completely natural feelings you are experiencing.

I will not try to cure you, fix you, or try to sell you 10 easy steps to a happy life. My belief is that although you are already perfect you may desperately need to be listened to. Having listened carefully to your situation I can draw a map for you - a 'you are here' map. This will help you to see why you feel as you do in the particular context of your life. It will then be possible for you to see how very natural it is to to feel uncomfortable feelings at certain times. When you have a map it can make it easier to get through each day. This is one thing in particular that I offer that most people find very helpful.

All questions are necessary and so very welcome. Too many of us struggle alone when we don't need to. You have to ask me your particular questions so I can tell you clearly and honestly how I can help you. Only then will you have the information you need to decide if you want to make an appointment to take it further.

Mental health is about well-being. For a car to run well it needs constant care and attention. So do we. Taking some time to reflect on your life, with the neutral skilled support that I offer, is one way to give your psyche some care and attention. The benefit of taking this time for yourself is that there doesn't need to be anything wrong with you in order to take time for yourself. The sooner you begin the sooner you benefit. Consider it as a mental health check-up that is designed to monitor and fine-tune your well-being. It can be a useful opportunity to identify and affirm what supports you, and to recognise and deal with any unhelpful patterns that you come across along the way.

I will clearly let you know what I can offer you. My focus is on you. You do not need to concern yourself with my needs. That is the difference between talking to me rather than a friend.

Meetings are by appointment in comfortable private locations with off street parking. In Dublin on the Navan Road (3 miles from the city center on main bus routes), and in Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath. Here are some images for each location with the full address and land line phone numbers.
